In 2010 the FAI Football For All programme established a network of Football For All Clubs through existing community clubs across Ireland. As many of you may be aware MU AFC have an active FFA section that caters for people with a disability who want to play football who otherwise may struggle to excel in the competitive environment of underage football or who need additional supports.

We currently have approximately 20 children between the age of 10 and 22 (male and female) who regularly play football. We train each Sunday btw 10:30 and 12:00 – during the Spring we train at Gannon Park and in the Winter we train inside at the Liam Rogers Community Centre in Kinsealy.

For those players interested in more competitive football we play Special Olympics League matches. Through FFA and Special Olympics it is terrific to see all athletes with an equal opportunity to be part of a club, receive regular training and participate in competition and reach their full potential.

If you or any of your friends have a child who would like to get involved in FFA or would like to join our coaching panel (current opening for head coach role) please contact Stephen Whitehead.
